Will Jodi Make A Deal?

According to abc15.com (link to full article below) it’s possible that the lawyers will agree to end the case without a trial and give Arias a life sentence without parole. Several factors will be weighed by Maricopa County’s top prosecutor, Bill Montgomery, including feedback from the Alexander family. He declined to say if the defense lawyers had offered to take the death penalty off the table but added he has an ‘ethical obligation’ to consider such a deal.

On the other hand Montgomery indicated he is confident an impartial jury can be seated to determine the punishment for Arias. “We are a county of 4 million total people, and over  million registered voters can find there way onto a jury pool.”

I could see the State and family doing that with one stipulation. No interviews with the press. That’s the main reason the family wants her gone. I think their just tired of hearing their brother put through the mud. What do you think? Great article. Thanks P/S LMAO I was just on Facebook reading some of my book authors and there was a link HLNTV placed starring something about Judge Seidlin giving advice. OMG there were over 300 replies from people that can’t stand him. When my mail dinged I was trying to figure out how to send the link to here.

300-that’s all? I have no problem with taking the Death Penalty off the table. It will shut her up and avoid another trial and nix all appeals.

But at one point in time she will get to go out into general population as long as she has good behavior. Have heard this twice now.

LOL Penny… I just get so frustrated over the people that can’t see the proof staring them in the face… it does stun me how blind some can be…

      2. Penny

I know the frustration you are talking about. I have a knife in my hand to go after her then “think hey this just TV you can’t get to her that way”

      3. Pam

It’s really bad when another person can make us feel that way. I have never physically harmed anyone in my life..but I want to jump in the TV and strangle her and make her beady eyes cross more then they already are. GRRRRR I have never seen someone as just plain bone deep evil as her. Makes me shudder

Only other one I watched like this is the OJ trial. Couldn’t beleive he was found innocent. At least now he is where he sould be even though it is not for killing his wife. He will be much older when he gets out.

I think this disgust of her (which, due to her blatant lies and manipulation has made us dislike her even more) has made normal people very angry.

Judge Seidlin does not know Arizona law or all the other lawyers are wrong. He suggest no penalty trial and asks how many times that can be done. Neither lawyer on the segment told him, it can only be done one time. Then the judge decides.

Your both right. One of these days I’ll learn how to send you guys links. http://www.HLN.com has it on one of the first page headlines . The Judge offering his advice. lol There doing a special on stalkers right now.

I would feel life w/out parole is ok, of course I think she deserves death penalty, but if the family wants to end this it makes sense. But can she later appeal, or is that a done-deal?

Don’t hesitate to let me know if I didn’t give you this link right 🙂

Don’t know about the appeal but if she gets life with out parole she will be able to in to general population in 5 or more years with good behavior. DP ONLY!

    1. Pam

I think life without parole would only work with the family with a written agreement to not have interviews dragging Travis through the mud constantly. I don.t think anyone would give the crazy woman parole.anyway. Hopefully

Pam I would hope so, you just never know with Jodi. She could sit for a few years then claim she did not do it or had accomplices and try to appeal… I watched the stalking show on Dr. Drew, it was all a little too familiar as I had a stalker ex years ago. The best part was a viewer wondering if Jodi knew who Travis was and purposely met him, with the intent on marriage. I think she did.

      2. Pam

That’s great about Perryville. Didn’t know that. You may be right K.. Sorry about your stalker it is a scary thing. Back in the early 70’s when I had my first child.I use to walk him with his stroller. At some point when I got home a guy would call and tell me he saw me where I walked and what I was wearing. This went on till I moved. Cops did absolutely nothing.Still had dial phones..shared lines etc..no laws. No threats but scary none the less. Probably a just a dirty old man neighbor. Enough to give me a idea. Her meeting Travis does seem kind of convenient ?????? hmmm

    2. Penny

If she gets life with out parole she can go into gereal population at some point if she keeps her nose clean. DP I hope then she can not be around anyone ever.

That’s really creepy Pam. Mine was an ex boyfriend who was older than me, I was 18, he 26. He would be driving past my work just as I exited, call my parents’ home and hang up, break windows in our house and cars, and send me anonymous roses… Thankfully I got a restraining order and he was scared enough of jail to quit. I happened to work with a girl years later who was 18, he was pushing 30 by then, and she described him to a T as her stalker, but she thought it was harmless. I warned her to tell him to back off, and she did. I got my car keyed mysteriously, but after that nothing. I was lucky and I think the other gal was too. I think in Travis’s case he was a man, of course, and didn’t realize what he was dealing with. We women are more likely to make a fuss over a stalker, but men just put up with it.

I am so happy you made it through safely. In todays society it can be pretty scary. Back when it happened to me luckily it never went much farther then phones call or letters..When you moved they were gone. We didn’t have the internet or cell phones where they could trace you. Your also lucky in some ways to have them for protection. I live in one of the safest towns in the USA but I had to drive an hour away to work when I was younger and carried masse. Be careful of everything. Get to know people well..Men or women. Again I am so glad nothing happened to you…just gave me chills thinking about it. Pam

You may have seen this on the State V Jodie Arias FB page last night, but this gentleman, Carl ToersBiijns, has put some info videos together, educating us out here in the real world how life really is on the inside of the prison JA will be going to, it is really an eye opener..JA has no clue what she is in for. I pray the Alexanders watch these videos so if she ends up with LWOP, they will know there will still be justice!

I was watching Locked Up Maricopa County on that series. I wouldn’t want to even be there waiting for trial. Most of those woman have to be girlfriends to butch woman for protection. Real prison must be worse. Thanks for the info. I will look it up. Pam

If she gets lwop she can still go in to general population in 5 or more yrs. if she is a good girl. Way to good for her.She would be center of attention again with all her roomies.

She probably already promised each girl privately to be their girlfriend. Good old Jodi..tell them what will do her the most good. Oh and I think I figured out what video LMAO!

      2. K

Maybe she will continue to use all the money in her comissary to bribe them with candy bars…I sure hope the big mean gals have sweet tooths..lol

      3. Penny

If the candy bars don’t work she better find a new to bend. It will not be the sam as Travis. Hope DP so she can’t be around anyone EVER!
